Kayak... The Invisible Dog....

Until last Saturday I didn't know I had an Invisible Dog........
Saturday the 11th July, took place in the Lisbon Hippodrome the 113th Lisbon International Dog Show – LISBON WINNER 2009.
I had Kayak entered.
It was a nice day, and this show ground is very nice (it has horses there :-)) )!
20 PWD’s were entered to be judged by Mrs. Yvonne Brink from Sweden.
When time comes for Kayak to enter the ring, the commissioner seems to have forgotten to call in for the class…. As it’s normal for them to do so…
So only on male was in the ring.
As I knew it was my time I approached the ring entrance where one of the commissioners blocked my way in….
I asked if that wasn’t the Champion Class judgment, and she said no…It was the Best Male choice….
Then I replied, I’m sorry, but isn’t the champion male inside now? And she said yes, to what I’ve replied, so this is the other champion male… Can’t I come in???
The commissioner was starring at me, and then the other commissioner that was inside come and told me to enter…..
So I finally was able to enter the ring when the judge was already looking at the other champion male.
Then she came to look at Kayak, in a quite fast mode, and told me to make a line.
After she told both males to move and then she told us to stop and after that the males from the other classes were told to enter…
I didn’t realize Kayak’s result until the commissioner mentioned it was first place champion in front of me, then me as second in champion class, them the 1st one in intermediate class, and so one…. We then made a small turn and the judge asked the 1st classified in Open Class to pass to Kayak’s front, so the Best Male classification ended with Kayak as 3rd Best Male…………
I think it’s an insult to treat competitors like if they were invisible….
The judge is there to judge all the competitors in an equal way….
